Vektoria is built for takeoff from electrical, telecom and HVAC drawings. Combine symbol counts, cable lengths and areas in one quantity list. You need PDF drawings; CAD software and DWG files are not required.
Vektoria uses its own recognition method. Drawings are not sent to AI services: they are processed on our own servers in the EU.

Is symbol detection fully automatic?
You select the symbol to count in the drawing. Vektoria finds matching symbols and highlights the results. You review and approve them, so you decide which quantities go into the takeoff.
Does Vektoria use AI?
Vektoria does not use AI for symbol recognition. Detection and quantity takeoff are based on our own method. Drawings are not sent to AI services: they are processed on our own servers in the EU.
Does Vektoria recognise different designers' symbols?
Select a symbol directly from your own drawing and Vektoria searches for matches across the drawing set. You do not need a predefined library or a particular designer's symbols. Use original digital PDF drawings.
What files does Vektoria read?
Vektoria reads PDF drawings. Import a single page or the complete project set. DWG files, CAD software and CAD skills are not required.
Does Vektoria work with scanned drawings?
Symbol detection requires vector-based PDF drawings. Symbols in scanned, photographed or other image-based drawings are not detected. The internal structure of a vector file also affects detection.
Can I trust the quantities?
Matches are highlighted directly on the drawing. You can check where each quantity comes from before approving it. You review and approve the quantities included in your takeoff.
How do quantities get into my estimate?
Approved quantities are compiled into a quantity list that you export as an Excel report for your own estimating workflow. The report can also include a basic cost estimate.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Vektoria runs in your browser. Log in with your account and start with your own PDF drawings.
How is data security handled?
Project data is stored in the EU and connections are encrypted using HTTPS. Each organisation's data is isolated from others. You can delete your account and its associated data. The privacy notice explains personal data processing and retention in more detail.
How do I get access?
Accounts are provided as part of the agreement. Email info@vektoria.fi to arrange pricing and setup.
